Solo show at National Museum of Contemporary Art Deouksugung.
Note to Tae: YOu should google his work...it's amazing! His use of color is intense with such old school, Korean sensibility into his art....I love that he only uses Hanji!
I liked this one better then Gyeongbokgung. This palace is a lot smaller but the walk around it is more beautiful and charming. Plus , currently they are exibiting works by a Korean artist named Nosoo Pak...tomorrow is the last day of the show!
This is ultimately my favorite place to eat in Seoul...I love that there's a location EVERYWHERE!! Kimchi jigae and spicey port bbq with soju is the BEST~!
this is a view f/way up above a mountain that B and i climbed...we were so unprepared...at least B had an outfit for it but i was in my silly trench...got a headache once i was up there...B kept advising me to breathe with my tummy and i'm like, i duno how!!! every time we hiked up, my head kept spinning...but this view was great..that little island looks like a 'goldfish' from above...the best time to view is at crack of dawn but there was no way we were getting up that early!
the neighborhood Grannies...they were all so sweet and friendly...greeted my friend and i into their little hang out place...fed us lunch...knew my parents and even remembered me as well! it was the best part of my road trip...
Thanks for visiting my sketchbook. Find me on Instagram: STRIPEDSTRIPES. I love doodling, fashion and baking. I am dreaming about writing/illustration a "kids" book!
